Traditional Home Southern Style Now Designer Showhouse

The exquisite designs in the DXV collection proved to be perfect accompaniments to the gracious interiors shown at the Traditional Home Southern Style Now Designer Showhouse. Steeped in the rich history of Savannah, Georgia, this classic 1854 Greek Revival rowhouse was restored, revived and rejuvenated by renowned designers, honoring the past with the best of the present.

ENCHANTED KITCHEN – Designed by DXV Design Panelist 2015, Lisa Mende of Lisa Mende Design, Charlotte, North Carolina

True to her design sensibility, Lisa melds hospitality, history, and a hint of quirkiness with memorable results. Front and center in this inviting space is the slender, statuesque beauty of the DXV Victorian Bridge Faucet.  Painstakingly executed details are a testament to its timeless character and traditional heritage. Complementing the faucet is the DXV Hillside 30” Apron Sink, a period-perfect design that is right at home in this 19th century abode. Made of durable fine fireclay, this versatile style features a smooth front reversing to a more transitional panel front. Each DXV piece pays tribute to tradition while being firmly rooted in today.

MASTERFUL BATHROOM – Designed by Kevin Walsh of Bear Hill Interiors, Little Rock, Arkansas

With a penchant for traditional modern style that incorporates antiques and beautiful colors, it’s no wonder Kevin opted for DXV when designing this master bath.  The architectural profile of the DXV Fitzgerald Freestanding Tub combined with the graceful lines of the DXV Transitional Floor-Mount Tub Filler with Cross Handles, in sublime satin brass, is an irresistible pairing in this grand scheme.

No less impressive is the DXV Pop Petite Rectangle Under-Counter Sink whose diamond-like facets and precise symmetry add to the opulence of the DXV Randall Widespread Faucet with Cross Handles, a gleaming tribute to the past in today’s warm, satin brass finish. To complete this exquisite suite, Kevin also incorporated the Randall Multifunction Showerhead, Randall Personal Shower Set, Randall Thermostatic Trim, and Fitzgerald Two-Piece Toilet all by DXV (not shown).

PETITE POWDER ROOM – Designed by Betsy Berry of B. Berry Interiors, Charleston, South Carolina

The phrase “good things come in small packages” holds true for this diminutive powder room. In creating interiors that are “sophisticated yet relaxed”, Betsy also manages an impressive dose of refinement and functionality here, starting with the DXV Randall Widespread Faucet with Cross Handles. Defined by precise, unpretentious details, the Randall design proves worthy of the century and setting, offering lasting beauty and superior performance for the next generation.  Another point of perfection is the DXV Pop Petite Rectangle Under-Counter Sink with its diamond-like facets adding a final touch of opulence to this wonderfully accommodating gem.

BATHROOM ONE – Designed by Mary Jo Bochner of Bochner Design, Savannah, Georgia

Harkening back to the warmth and familiarity of a bygone era, Mary Jo creates an escape that’s pure 19th century. In the midst of time-honored antiques, the DXV Landfair Widespread Faucet lends its classic elegance to the richness of wood and touchable textures. Precise in every detail and crafted for lasting beauty Landfair is a design for the ages, then and now.

BATHROOM TWO – Designed by Chad James of Chad James Group, Nashville, Tennessee

As refreshing as a sweet Southern breeze, Chad creates a thoughtfully tailored space with hints of the home’s heritage reflected in the DXV Oak Hill Wall-Mount Faucet with Cross Handles. Unpretentious and reminiscent of 19th century form and function, the Oak Hill Faucet maintains the look while incorporating the lasting beauty and superior performance the 21st century demands. As the perfect accompaniment to the faucet, Chad chose the DXV Pop Rectangle Vessel Sink. Defined by sleek lines, its simplicity spans centuries of style to fit in beautifully here. Completing this special suite, Chad also incorporated the Equility Freestanding Tub, Traditional 10” Rain Can Showerhead, Randall Thermostatic Trim, and Fitzgerald Two-Piece Toilet all by DXV (not shown).

GARDEN-LEVEL GUEST KITCHEN – Designed by Gwyn Duggan of Gwyn Duggan Design Associates, Darien, Georgia

Who wouldn’t feel welcome upon entering this charming kitchen complete with all the elements that beckon you inside?  To ensure visual interest, Gwyn opted for the DXV Victorian Kitchen Faucet with its intricate details and timeless character.  The statuesque profile of this faucet is the perfect complement to the charming personality of the DXV Hillside 30” Apron Sink.  Made of durable fine fireclay, this versatile design features a smooth front reversing to a more transitional panel front. By incorporating the quality and performance of DXV, this delightful space will appeal to guests for generations to come.
