Meet Kelli Fleek

Meet Kelli Fleek, showroom manager/designer and devoted Mom, Bath and Kitchen Idea Center by Lincoln Winnelson, Lincoln, NE.

She brings you…

seven years experience in decorative plumbing.  “I have a degree in Interior Design and Industrial Distribution from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and started working for Lincoln Winnelson immediately after graduation. It was a great fit for both design and sales that interested me.”

She specializes in...
kitchens and bathrooms in both new construction and remodeling.

She understands…

it can be hard to know where to start on a project.

She recommends…
beginning by contacting the plumber or contractor that will be doing the work on your project. “We want to make sure that plumbing behind the wall doesn’t need to be changed to meet new code requirements. And if you are thinking of redoing the layout, we need to have them look to see if it can be done. Then when you come in, we know exactly what sizes are needed and what fixtures we need to select.”

She will help you…

by figuring out what style you are looking for: traditional, transitional or contemporary. Then she’ll find out what type of faucet you prefer: widespread, center set or single handle. “Then I can show you coordinating shower trims to match the style of the sink faucet.”

She will make it easy…
by guiding you through all the choices the need to be made. Do you want fiberglass, acrylic or a wall panel in the shower or tub? What size will the shower or tub be? Do you want the tub to be a drop in, freestanding or will you need an apron and tiling flange? What finish do you plan on using? What kind of countertops are going to be in the bathroom: granite, laminate, or onyx? Do you want to use under mount or drop-in sinks? How many sinks in each bathroom? Standard height or comfort height toilet, round or elongated? What color do you want for the toilets, tub/shower and sinks? White or Linen?

She warns…

a bathroom faucet gets used the most in the house,  so it doesn’t make sense to compromise.

She promises…

“you are purchasing from a wholesaler that has great quality faucets and if anything goes wrong with the product, we are here to stand behind it and get it taken care of for you.”

She goes above and beyond…
product selection in many ways. “We walk through the blueprints with you to make sure you have every item you need.  We also talk to you about accessories and additional items that could be needed later on. We encourage our customers to bring in paint samples, flooring, countertops and cabinets so we can give them the full visual of how everything will look like together.

“We want this to be a easy process for the customer and we are here to make that happen. “

She sees trending…

walk-in showers,  handhelds with a showerhead for most average size showers, his/ her setups for larger showers. “Freestanding tubs are going into master bathrooms instead of a whirlpool. Champagne bronze is a popular finish as is  chrome.”

She appreciates…
the DXV Golden Era and Contemporary Design Movements.  “The Lyndon (Contemporary) and Fitzgerald  (Golden Era) tubs are my favorites. I love the clean lines and square design, but feel like both could be transitional pieces.  The Pop (Golden Era) sinks are great, I like both the vessel and under mounts. The Percy (Contemporary) faucet with the Loop handle is fun and unique, and would be great in a powder room.”
