Meet Ashley Reed

Meet Ashley Reed, showroom manager and new mom, Knoxville Noland, Knoxville, TN.

She brings you… 5 years of decorative plumbing experience, thanks to her Mom who worked in a showroom and sparked her interested in the field.  “I was actually a registered dietician but found out I wasn’t cut out for hospital work after getting nauseous a few times. Design is much more fun.”

She specializes… in new residential construction working with homeowners, but also does remodeling projects.

She will devote… plenty of time…from an hour to four hours or more over several visits if necessary…to listen carefully to what you have in mind style-wise for your bath. Then she’ll make suggestions and walk the showroom with you, pointing out products that she believes will suit your individual needs and budget.

She warns… you not to make a decision solely on price.  “Something may look cheap on line, but it can be a headache later if there are warranty issues. Or there may not even be a warranty. Then you’ll end up having to start all over again.”

She wants you to know… with Noland you are buying a service to help you through every step of your project. “We’ll answer questions, explain the mechanics of everything, such as how to configure a shower.  We understand differences in how products are manufactured and what constitutes quality.”

“We’ll coordinate with your builder or plumber to keep your project on schedule. For example, we know faucets have to be picked out early because valves need to go in while the walls are open.  And we’re here after the sale if there are ever any issues, or you just have a question like how to clean a sink.”

She understands… it can be hard to visualize how your bathroom is going to turn out. “We’re here to help figure out placement of fixtures. And we have tile, granite and accessories in the showroom so you can see how a certain color faucet will go with them.”

She loves… the DXV Fitzgerald collection, part of the Golden Era movement. “It’s my best seller because we are a traditional market, but I like that it has some eclectic pieces and offers a diverse look.”

She enjoyed… creating the Noland bath and kitchen showroom. . “It was intense, like doing 20 houses! Making all those selections helped me really understand what homeowners go through.” Now she is working on an equally challenging project, the Knoxville Symphony League Show House with five baths by five different designers.

She thrives on… raising her 10-month old son, hiking, yoga, and reading. A recent fav: The Boys in the Boat, about an Olympic rowing team, soon to be a movie.
